My name is Darrin Coe and welcome to my world.
I'm a frustrated writer who writes horror and fantasy and sometimes fantasy horror or dark fantasy or christian horror
or whatever as long as it's not some goofy story about a forlorn writer suffer from angst and in need of a story line.
I guess I write some form of speculative fiction which is basically anything outside the normal of our everyday thinking
and experience -- how's that for wide open?
Specfic encompasses so much that it really is hard to define but consider the word speculative -- you're speculating,
thinking, meandering, pondering, and moving away from the normal thought and behavior of your environment and you're gonna
write it in the form of fiction, meaning it's not true and made up and all that jazz.
Specfic can be horror and it's subgenres (and that's a huge array of stuff), it can be fantasy with all it's subgenres,
it can be SF with all that encompasses or anything else that's not considered "literature" or straight mystery or some of
the other types of recognized genres.
Specfic is all that is hybrid, fantastical, creepy, or outside the bun.
So, have I fumbled that definition enough? So be it -- I believe you understand what I'm getting at.
This site is designed to spotlight the writer, the reader and all that is in between.
